I'm having a problem and I'm not sure I understand where the issue is. I have a client who is sending email from an IP address that is currently blacklisted (it is a dynamic IP at a hotel).
The client logs in using SMTP AUTH and sends mail just fine. They are also receiving mail just fine. However, when the mail goes to bellsouth, bellsouth rejects the mail saying that they are on a black list.
My server is not blacklisted, the IP that bellsouth is showing is the IP address that they are sending mail FROM.
Where exactly is the issue here? Is it in Exim, their Outlook or Bellsouth?
