    Default Trash folder

    I have problems with all clients, even tough they keep their Inboxes empty, they somehow forget to clean the Trash boxes too, so eventually their e-mails are running out of its quota. You then contacted the client, and they all say the same: all my boxes are empty. Then you login to their account, and all messages are in their Trash box.

    1) Is it box to eliminate the Trash box altogether? If no, then...

    2) is it possible to delete the message from the Inbox FOREVER without pressing any other key than the delete at the inbox folder?

    Any ideas gladly appreciated...."agging" doesn't work since I just want the Trash box to Age!!

    Thanks

    Default Change Horde Default

    How to change the DEFAULT configuration for HORDE.

    Below is what I want to change to:

    purge_trash=Yes (probably is 0 or 1)

    purge_trash_interval= 5 (every login)

    purge_trash_keep= 10 (10 days old)

    Thanks

    Default Purge Trash

    Thanks, I already found the solution:

    Login to your SSH, then go to:
    /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/imp/config
    edit prefs.php to:

    purge_trash= 1 (change from 0 to 1) (1 = yes)

    purge_trash_interval= 5 (change from 1 to 5) (5 = every login)

    purge_trash_keep= 3 (change from 3 to 30) (3 = days)

    Save it and all your mailboxes will be changed to it.

    ============================================

    Then go to your SquirrelMail configuration:

    and change Trash_folder to Do Not Use Trash

    Attention/Note: please make those changes at your own risk. Remeber on Horde every time you login all messages will be deleted inside the trash folder when 3 days and older. For the SquirrelMail all messages will be deleted when the delete button is pressed.

    It will save you lots of GB!!

    Thanks
