Default How to setup uw-imap to create folder in mbx format by default ?

    Hi,

We tried to configure uw-imap to create new folder in mbx format by default.

We put some config files on the server like:

    /etc/c-client.cf
    I accept the risk
    set new-folder-format mbx
    set empty-folder-format mbx

    /home/.imaprc
    I accept the risk
    set new-folder-format mbx
    set empty-folder-format mbx

No results after a restart of the imap server.

Somebody have an idea how to do that ?

    Thanks.

I don't really understand what you're trying to achieve. The cpimap that cPanel uses is a custom build to uw-imap which by default uses mbox format. You cannot change the way uw-imap works without modifications to exim. If you want maildir support instead of mbox then you should convert over to courier-imap.
