    php 4.3.2 (Stable)

Had problems with the July 13 builds too, seems to be a http header problem, when running php scripts, anything that uses a URL such as http://domain.com/index.php/some-link was failing and giving 404 errors - Had to uninstall phpsuexec due to not being able to fix it up. Any ideas? Anyone...

    How to disable ssh

You are in far more danger from php scripts than you are having ssh turned on - If you don't allow ssh access to users, have access restricted to certain IP's, have root login disabled, strong passwords, current versions - That,s good enough for me. An application such as gallery, shoutbox...

At the moment, often that happens. No load, no excess memory usage - Found usually 1 httpd process left that will not allow for an apache stop/start/restart - Have to kill that process and restart apache after - thats if the box lets us in to carry that out that is, sometimes the boxes just have...

    Incremental or Full Backup?

The incremental backups are the same , only they aren't compressed  They are kinder on the server and only update changed files each day. You should also keep a copy of /var/named with all dns zones, etc to restore those after recreating them in WHM (if you restore accounts from any...

mysql table corruption with php apps.

Also new users are not created with the LOCK TABLES privilege.. this is causing problems for those that use them. How can this privilege be added to all new and old users in MySQL 4?

mysql table corruption with php apps.

The buildapaches were changed today, they no longer seem to use the 4.0.12 libraries within php, as they had been doing. They now use the php built in ones again - Probably something to do with the option to downgrade to MySQL 3.x ?

Bug in "Modify An Account" Username change messed up reseller account

Anyone know which file to edit to remove the ability to change the user name or domain from the Modify account form? I don't mean remove the modify account from WHM options, just removing certai spects of it, changing user name and domain name is problematic.

    Security Alert!

Same with the 3rdparty skins bert, changing to another cpanel skin, then accessing phpmyadmin, then logging out and changing back to the 3rdparty skin, and accessing phpmyadmin again solves it too.

    Security Alert!

If your clients still have problems arfter all the fixes, try changing their cpanel theme to a different one, then access phpmyadmin, then change it back to the original cpanel theme and access phpmyadmin again - It works honest :)

DNS Sync Zones Does Not Work

Basically yes, up to 4 hours. If your ISP has the dns in its cache, then the changes can take up to 4 hours, if not, then the change can be instant to you.

DNS Sync Zones Does Not Work

Login to your server, cd /var/named ls -l Are all the zones there? Sometimes running /scripts/dnstransfer several times has been necessary to completely transfer all zones over to your server from the primary name server. After that when all zones have transferred over to...

    Security Alert!

What about setting the cookie name to something else in php.ini - has anyone tried that, it may be related to cookies stored within your IE and changing the sessions cookie name within php.ini and the restarting apache may help, it may not either. Worth a try maybe.

Too Many Connections / MySQL Instable

Found our issue, it was a database causing the problem. A db was locking up Mysql (Creating many Lock tables) and writing to /tmp - Filling /tmp up completely until Mysql was restarted, then all was good again until that process was repeated again. Logging the "mysqladmin processlist" made...
