Servers not listed in the DNS cluster.

If it happens again, I will. The trouble is, I've no idea why all those files ending in -dnsrole vanished. I only know that recreating them got the clustered servers to reappear in the interface.

Servers not listed in the DNS cluster.

Just to say, I've noticed the same issue here. I have 3 DNS-Only servers. Two had "There are currently no servers in your DNS cluster". The other one only listed some of the full-cPanel servers that they were synchronising with, but not all of them. I logged into that server on the command...

Hmm... New accounts get set up on PHP 5.5 with mod_lsapi enabled?

    EasyApache4 Announcement

In other words, it's exactly as I described further up this thread: It doesn't use the Native PHP. Case in point: On the server I tested on, native PHP was 5.5.x, but enabling mod_lsapi put the site onto 5.4.x. There's no way I can deploy it server-wide whilst that is the case...

    EasyApache4 Announcement

Are you sure? Inspired by your test, I've just tried again. First, I updated mod_lsapi to the latest version (0.2.3). Then I went to my test domain, and made sure that the PHP selector was using "native" not any of Cloud Linux's alt-php versions. 1. I turned off mod_lsapi for a test domain I...

    Root Certificate

@whipworks - that doesn't sound like it's related to the root certificate being omitted from the secured SMTP connections in Exim - it sounds like a different issue. Unless I've misunderstood, I'd suggest you open a new thread about this one

"Do not forward email to external recipients" for SpamAssassin score over X

Sorry - it seems I wasn't clear. I wasn't reporting that my installation wasn't working as intended. I was simply asking what is supposed to happen. Ouch. The backscatter isn't the big issue there - it's privacy. Suppose someone wishes to give out [email protected] to senders, but...

    EasyApache4 Announcement

Still in Beta, and last time I checked it still forced accounts using native PHP onto one of the alt-php branches. That means it would completely bypass EasyApache's PHP, which in turn means the server administrator is less in control of the defaults that users get to run PHP with.

    Root Certificate

I opened a ticket about something that sounds like it may be related. The result was case number 160305. Michael may be able to have a look at that and see if it sounds relevant in your case.

"Do not forward email to external recipients" for SpamAssassin score over X

Thanks Michael I looked for that documentation this morning, and nearly found it. I was on the right page, but then "search within page" didn't find it because I was on the wrong tab. :( Anyway, I've read it now, but it doesn't elaborate much beyond the tooltip help within WHM. I'll try and...

SOLVED Clear Trash on Logout no longer working on Roundcube + Paper Lantern

With 11.48 moving webmail onto Paper Lantern, the "logout" button is now in the cPanel parent frame, and not in the RoundCube application inner frame. There is a setting in RoundCube > Settings > Server Settings > Maintenance named "Clear Trash on Logout". With 11.46 and earlier, clicking...

"Do not forward email to external recipients" for SpamAssassin score over X

I like the look of this new feature in 11.48. :) Before I enable it, though, could someone explain what happens to messages that are not forwarded for this reason? Suppose an account has a mailbox [email protected], and a forwarder that sends mail sent to [email protected] on to both...

    EasyApache4 Announcement

EasyApache is a collection of scripts / hooks / add-on modules to make installing Apache and PHP from source easy. Although this change is being called EasyApache 4, it seems to me to be better described as "we're moving away from EasyApache as the supported method to install Apache and PHP...

    EasyApache4 Announcement

I think the point is that this would need to remain opt-in for quite some time. There will be a lot of edge-cases, uncommon uses, and so on that may prove knotty for server administrators to find the best implementation for in EA4. Forcing them to move over too fast could cause chaos, as things...

    EasyApache4 Announcement

A few questions come instantly to mind - I'm sure more will become clear as you start to release docs to show it will all work. But: What's the plan for Tomcat? (Not that I ever understood why it was installed with EasyApache in the first place!) What of the custom modules that currently go in...

cPanel Cron interface can't handle "ever X hours, between Y and Z"

For years, I've run cron jobs every four hours to maintain and/or backup various website. I stagger them - I run them at different minutes past the hour. I also don't want them all running between midnight and 1am, then between 4am and 5am, etc. So I run some at */4 hours. Others get run at...

Custom Content in Paper Lantern - Specific Pages Only

Thanks Adam I wrote a great long reply to you, splitting your post into multiple parts to answer each question. Then I spotted what had happened, so I don't need my long reply. Compare to Sure enough, with "page_" in the filename, it works. So the documentation work needed is: (i)...

Custom Content in Paper Lantern - Specific Pages Only

I think this is a simple question. I don't know whether the answer is simple ;) Two premises. 1. cPanel 11.46 makes it possible to insert custom content into the header and footer regions of Paper Lantern. 2. When this was announced (prior to the release of 11.46), we were told that...
