Editing CSS for Top Frame only

I have two installations of WHM and one of the DNS Only for my hosting environment. I sometimes need to go into the WHM or DNS to make changes, or whatnot. I would like to be able to edit the CSS for the top frame only above the logo so when I switch to the tab, I can know based on the color...

    Digital Ocean

This is what I want to do... Digital Ocean if you haven't heard of them, is a lot like Linode where you can deploy your container (in this case droplet) as a VPS on demand, scale it and so forth at an incredible cost. I have created one 'droplet' to host cPanel right now and will be moving my...

    Accounts secretly added....

True - however, the hacker changed the email somehow first so they would get the notifications. I believe through a script injection w/o logging in first.

    Accounts secretly added....

infopro- tell me something I don't already know. :) I think I have narrowed it down (at least I hope) by them using Symlinks and doing some looking up exploits on Google to get that far. I went through easyapache since and have disabled Symlinks.

    Accounts secretly added....

My issues never cease now, I apologize for this if it has already been covered, but I am just now recovering from a massive issue that hit a major client's site on my server and about 10 heated calls from them later. I had a call today from my angry client about their site being...

Spam IPs vs Legit Ones /Atomic Linux vs. CSF

InfoPro - I appreciate your information. I guess it appears I don't have much experience in this area. We all have to start somewhere. :)

Spam IPs vs Legit Ones /Atomic Linux vs. CSF

Here is my situation - Long story short, hackers got into several Joomla based sites on my server and installed some scripts which are now being called by what I presume to be infected computers as part of a zombie botnet. I have had two abuse reports sent and have been working hard on...

    EasyApache Fails consistanly

Thank you Brian! I narrowed the problem down to cpXstack which I had enabled. Fortunately, nobody yet was using it so for now, I turned it off and uninstalled it. That solved the compile problem. Still fighting the PHP warning error, but this at least got me back on track. :)

    EasyApache Fails consistanly

Trying to remedy some errors with Suhosin and eAccelerator: So, I went in to disable them for now through EasyApache and it is erroring out every time with the following error: I am running Easy::Apache v3.18.6 on CENTOS 5.9 i686 virtuozzo WHM 11.36.0 (build 11) Any ideas?

PCI Scan from McAfee did something to my WHM login

I am still tracking this down, but I am now unable to login to WHM with the root account/password it says login invalid. AFAIK - nothing would have been written to the server and I am using in case anyone is wondering a 24 character password with Mixed Upper case, lower case, Special...

    Restrict Root Login

I am unable to access it now. :( I saved the IP In the file: /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Security/Policy/RootRestrict.pm What file would I need (from the command line or FTP) to change to disable this so I can log in now? That will do until I am able to retry this later.

    Restrict Root Login

Hi - My ISP thoughtfully changed my IP w/o my noticing. I changed the ip to reflect in the script, but am now getting: Security Policy Handling Failed Please attempt to log in again. If this problem persists, please contact the system admin. When I try to log in - any recommendations...

Intercept WHM login page then load to Login page after Authentication?

This is related to the thread here: http://forums.cpanel.net/f42/integrate-yubikey-into-whm-login-249532.html#post1036031 But more of a new question: I have made a PHP script (Actually modified the one provided by YubiKey in their PHP login scripts.) The script authorizes against the...

    Integrate Yubikey into WHM Login

I log in to the WHM directly on the front end when I need to tweak Apache and do various things there. If changing the port was enough, I think I would do that myself. But in this case, not really an ideal thing at the moment. Since most hackers can do a port scan on an active server, they...

    Integrate Yubikey into WHM Login

The reason behind integrating multi-factor login is because of the sheer number of hack attempts that come in reported and blocked by the firewall. I am very highly security minded and know that if the hacker were to view the YubiKey login field - they would move on or at least be a bit...

    Integrate Yubikey into WHM Login

In reading this thread they mentioned Yubikey as a suggestion for integrating into cPanel/WHM. I have a Yubikey and was playing around with the library found here and used their demo page supplied in the archive to test my login and Yubikey which worked perfectly after some tweaking to the...
