I guess you could use yum
to remove the package.

I just erased the package with rpm -e and removed the cron. Sorry about the mistype. :o
i had this happen starting last Sat night.
I ended up deleting the cron file and uninstalling via yum.
Seems to have fixed the problem.
Currently running apache 2, should I consider Apache 2.2?
