Redirect of All Public Domains not working

Heh... OK... tested and verified. I guess that's what "Public Domains" means, eh? LOL All these years and I never understood that... I'm sitting here thinking "domains accessible by the public" sheesh. :)

Redirect of All Public Domains not working

Hello, I have a primary account with several add-on domains. I have set "Restrict document roots to public_html" to Off so that addon domains are not under the /public_html folder. I have set my Redirects to send **All Public Domains** to an outside URL. The redirect is working for the...

    Redirects and Hard Links

OK... so the .htaccess should look like: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https: //newdomain.com/$1 [R=301] (space added to URL above to allow it to show) I changed it to that and all works as expected now. So yes, I probably need to make adjustments to the Mod_Rewrite. Will do so. Thanks.

Update Contact Information option for Features List?

Hi all, Has there been any action regarding 13337 yet? We have one newer server that does not provide access to set the various Notifications in Contact Management (for clients, not WHM), and I'd like to be able to get to that. I did try the manual method (edit the feature list in...

    Incremental backup (rsync?) using S3

Hi, Just thinking out loud here... Would it not be logical then, especially if already an Amazon customer, to establish an instance with a cPanel installation and use that for the rsync backup location?

SOLVED Configserver, cPanel, WHM - who has mail limiting priority

Hi all, I have obtained clarification for anyone interested... Configserver Mail Manager mail limiting is NOT a separate system, but rather, sets the limiting in cPanel. So it is simply an easier access method for setting mail limiting "per domain" rather than going and changing an account.

SOLVED Configserver, cPanel, WHM - who has mail limiting priority

Hi 24x7... Tks for taking the time to reply. However, I'm afraid Your info is contrary to what my experience is. First, yes, package based settings do override server wide settings. This is much like setting an individual email account at a larger quota than the default server setting. (in...

SOLVED Configserver, cPanel, WHM - who has mail limiting priority

Can someone clarify which service takes priority when using both cPanel (WHM) and Configserver to limit email sending. Email sends can be limited: 1) by WHM setting (Server Configuration>Tweak Settings>Max hourly emails per domain 2) by Product Specific setting (Packages>Edit a Package>Maximum...

Point same name server to different IP?

Hi Mr.rooteg, No you cannot. A name server must have one unique IP address. If you have four unique IP's create four name servers.

After Connecting Wix to cPanel, cPanel login doesn't work

Hi geti, Yes, that can be a tad frustrating. Here are some solutions for you... I am assuming that you are using your hosting provider's name servers and NOT WIX's name servers. Despite all of WIX's clamoring about it being preferable to use their's... that's not the case. They are simply...

    Inconsistent Login Responses

Absotlutely correct... thank-you so much. Sometimes one gets soooooo focussed on one area (Config Server) that one forgets there is another area performing a similar function. I never even looked at Brute Force... Thanks again.
