Not sure what thats about. I did perform an upgrade to my EDGE server via browser and it upgraded without issue. to build 13 though, not 11.30.

    This is by design:

Since there are an abnormal number of files in the /scripts directory, the upgrade is halted so you can attend to the matter. A typical cPanel installation has around 700 files in the /scripts directory. Quantities in excess of that figure indicates the /scripts directory is being used for other purposes.

The upgrade to 11.30 entails relocation /scripts to /usr/local/cpanel/scripts. To prevent situations where drive space and inode count could be a concern we perform a few sanity checks before performing the relocation. If any of the sanity checks fail we abort the upgrade and provide a message, as noted in the original post.

The relocation involves copying the contents of the /scripts directory, rather than a move. This ensures no loss of data occurs.

Please note that 11.29 is considered part of the version 11.30 family. Rather than modifying the message ("Ensuring cPanel server is ready to run 11.30") to distinguish between development and non-development builds, we wrote the message to state 11.30, which is the goal.
