Should we expect 11.38 to come to RELEASE tier after the webinar?

I know it's not always possible to tell, but sometimes the staff have an idea if it's coming in the next couple of days. Is that the case as I may switch one of my servers to CURRENT.

I can't answer your question properly, but why not come to the Webinar and ask there? :)

It's been mentioned on the EDGE list by a very reputable source, that its only a few more days. If you're running EDGE, or CURRENT on any of your servers and have any issues that have not been reported yet to please do so, now.

    HTH!

So does this mean that 11.38 will be in the Release Tier like very soon?

It's expected to be pushed to the "Release" tier in the next week, but there is always a possibility that we discover a new bug during the extensive testing that we put a release through that could result in a delay.

    Thank you.

As a developer myself, there's nothing worse than somebody keep on checking, but how are we looking for this week? No updates to the change log I'm hoping is a good sign?

Update: As mentioned, there is always a possibility that testing or circumstances push back the release date. That's the case here with 11.38 to the "Release" tier, as it's been pushed back to a later date for the time being. We will provide more information as it's available.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the update. That's a shame as I was looking forward to it yesterday but obviously would rather it be 100% before being pushed to "Release".

Has a major bug been found. I'm keen to get the backups on one of my servers running as they go past 10am sometimes and pigz would really help. Not to mention I'd like a full backup of my config files using the new system.

As a result, i might go to current on one server to get this release.

The RELEASE push was delayed due to scheduling (we only push major releases on Mon, Tue, Wed and not during Holidays, PyCon, Fluent, YAPC::NA, HostingCon, cPanel Conference or YAPC::EU) unless there is an urgent need.

I feel like a little kid in a old mans body exited to open his presents but instead presents it is new version of cPanel in Release Tier.

We all need a little humor to give use a little pickup through out the day to help our day go better.

I am just exited to see 11.38 to be pushed to Release Tier.
