With the three new parameters left at the default enabled value, CP 11.40.0.16 breaks Fantastico saying it is not registered. How do I resolve this problem and what are the implications of doing so?

Hello :)

I have not seen updates from Fantastico in quite some time. You may want to consider using an alternate solution if they have not updated their application for cPanel version 11.40. You can try completing this on your own with instructions from this thread:

AppConfig - Registering

Thank you.

Thanks for the reply but in reading that thread I have no idea in hell what that is all about.

Funny thing is that the users in the CP interface can still use Fantastico. It is just in the WHM interface that I get a 500 error.

There is documentation if you are not understanding that thread:

cPanel - AppConfig

Note that typically it's the responsibility of the developers of the third-party application to ensure it's registered correctly. I have not seen updates from Fantastico in quite some time, so you may want to contact their support if you are not comfortable registering it with AppConfig.

Thank you.
