    Thanks.

Another probably ignorant question, but can someone point me to the page which shows the difference between stage 1 and 2? Thanks :D

But that doesn't really answer Amex's question. I know because I have the same question. The link basically says that apache 2 will come in one of the later stages. What else from the Cpanel 11 new features PDF is missing from Stage 1? Or put another way, what else will Stage 2 bring besides (hopefully) apache 2?

Stage 2 is defined by EA3 being integrated into cPanel/WHM. All the functionality of EasyApache 3 will propagate to the other cPanel/WHM builds in Stage 2. Note, there are no other Stages other than Stage 1 and Stage 2.

EasyApache 3 has support for Apache 2, 2.2, PHP 4 and 5 running in parallel, Tomcat, mod_mono (and other Apache and PHP modules not seein in EA1) among other things. Essentially Stage 2 is about improved control and customization over the web server component of cPanel/WHM.

As far as cpanel goes, is there any difference between Apache2 and 2.2 ? Am i right in assuming we would want to install the 2.2 version?

If you intend to use Apache 2 or 2.2, it is advised you not use PHP 4. As far as I can tell from EA3 in its current state, you will have the same options in terms of compiling in modules in Apache 2 as Apache 2.2.

Is tomorrow looking good for Stage 2 to go into current status? Or are there more bugs that need to be ironed out?
