    XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX OPTIONS * HTTP/1.0

These requests use Apache connections, as the result our users unable to access the server.

    As an example I use:
Srv PID Acc M CPU SS Req Conn Child Slot Client VHost Request
    135-7 - 0/0/3 . 0.00 1378 0 0.0 0.00 0.00 127.0.0.1 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX OPTIONS * HTTP/1.0
In this case, 1378 is time of live in secs(CPU usage, number of seconds).
    I've checked this.
    Why does these requests alive?
    What can cause this?

    Thank you.
