How can a 15 day trial license expire in 1 day?

When imputing my IP address in the store, it still says I'm valid for my trial license

I've only just recently started trying it out and all gone....

Run this in SSH comand prompt (as root)
/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt

also you should read this:
Troubleshooting a Recent Installation the License
Updating cPanel license...Done. Update Failed!
Error message:
The cPanel license server said that your license has been expired.
For more information visit: Legal Notices - cPanel Inc.

The exact message was: The license is expired. (*.*.*.*)!

Building global cache for cpanel...Done

I'm a little discouraged.... If I did decide on cPanel.... Would I need to worry about it suddenly going "poof"? 15 days = 1 day

First, make sure that the server is routing outbound traffic through its main IP address. Do this by running this command:

Code:
# curl [url]http://www.cpanel.net/apps/myip/[/url]
That command is going to return an IP address. Copy it, and paste it into this page:

License Verification - cPanel Inc.

That is going to show the status of the license for that IP address. Now, if the IP address returned by the curl command is not the server's main IP address, you have two options:

  1. Contact customer service and ask to have the IP address on the license changed to the one that is returned by the curl command, or;
  2. Ask your data center to change the routing of both the server and the network so that outbound traffic comes from the IP address that does have a license.

For this type of problem, it is best to either e-mail customer service, which works normal business hours, or submit a ticket to support, which works 24/7/365. As Infopro mentioned, repeatedly posting in this forum is not the most efficient way to get help with a pressing matter such as a license problem.
