eNom (and a few others) now require 2048 bit SSL CSR files. You can generate a 2048 bit CSR via WHM, but it doesn't appear the end-user can generate one.

    Is this a known issue?

I've seen this too...Seems the WHM XML API only generates 1024-bit CSR's as well. Might want to put this in as a bug

    Hello optize,

We have a few internal case related to this matter, include case 49214 "Adjust the cPanel SSL UI to make 2048 the default keysize" case. This is being worked on for 11.32.

    Thanks!

I'm running WHM 11.32.5 (build 11) and we're still stuck at 1024 keys, has this been resolved or is there a workaround for the end user control panel? For now I generated the CSR using the WHM and was able to create a 2048 key CSR. It would be preferable to have the end user generate their keys.

Per the prior case, it should have been fixed in 11.32.3.0 and higher. If you are still seeing the behavior where the cPanel end user is unable to generate keys of this size, please submit a bug report and reference the forum thread and prior case.
