2checkout: outbounds ports like 8100 and 8082

    sir,
    can some one let us know a Clients wants ti integrate some kinda API for 2checkout and wants to us enable them use PORTS 8100 and 8082.

    Is it a security threat to Allow any one use these ports ?
    How to allow only 1 account be able to use these ports ?

    Since it's outgoing, the risk is mitiagted somewhat. You can restrict port access by UID using iptables (you can see how it's done by looking at the iptables rules added if you enable the SMTP Security Tweak). Any scripts will have to run in the users UID context, which means suexec for perl CGI and/or phpsuexec for PHP.
