    Hi There

I've a client who has just smashed 30g of bandwidth (his usual for the month is 6g)

This has happened in the last few days. I've checked the apache logs and his bandwidth is currently at 4.5g.

I need to find where this extra bandwidth is coming from. I've looked at the bandwidth log file for today (/var/bandwidth...) and the biggest jump is TCP-IN

    Yesterday
    XX.XXX.XXX.XX-all-in 2993380663
    XX.XXX.XXX.XX-all-out 5455735577
    ...
    XX.XXX.XXX.XX-tcp-in 2959313436
    ...
    XX.XXX.XXX.XX-tcp-out 5426653458

    Same day last month
    XX.XXX.XXX.XX-all-in 435321978
    XX.XXX.XXX.XX-all-out 2674312803
    ...
    XX.XXX.XXX.XX-tcp-in 403398651
    ...
    XX.XXX.XXX.XX-tcp-out 2646754591

seems a bit fishy to me, could it be incoming email? or have i worse problems?

how do i find out whats causing the problem?

    any help would be fantastic!

    Cheers
