    Hello.
I have one big account from my server and all data should now be moved to another server. This account is 32Gb and and the second server does not have cPanel. The transfer should be allowed to succeed over ftp.

How do I copy a directory with many subdirectories and files to another server over FTP?

    i tried:
    ftp -nv
    open another.ftp.server
    user user password
    cd /www
    mput /home/user/dirctory/* /www*
    quit

    Any ideas ?

    Howdy,

I'd try scp or rsync over ssh (incase you get disconnected and have to start over).

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

    Howdy,
i can't use rsync or scp. Because another server is only possible to access the FTP.
    Try it first.
