4000 visits

Is 4,000 visits on average a day for a site alot for a shared hosting environment? The site also does some streaming of video? Not alot but the streams when the site is busy will happen at the same time.

This is a users stats I have on one of my servers and with the visits and when a few of those videos start streaming the server load increases a little higher than I like.

thats quiet some potent traffic , especially if its a database driven site with videostreaming

it also depends how the other users are affected with this kinda website.

If such thing would affect the uptime or would lead to frequent service crashes i would ask the client to upgrade to semi-dedicated or a dedicated server.
But it also helps if you have a mention of such things in your AUP.

rest is your own best judgement.
