403 error I can't get rid of.

    HELP@!!! 2 hours on this one .

    customer told me 403 on all pages. I check and sure enough.
    I then remove .htaccess ..nope ..check httpd.conf (normal)

    I remove FP ... nope.
    I delete public_html and mkdir and new one and make a index.html with basic &hello& in it. Nope 403. restart ..nope 403.

    What the ^%$# ???? Help!!!!!!!!11

    Is everything up to scratch in the httpd.conf? error_log and domain access log reporting anything out the ordinary?

    Check the permissions on the public_html? We had someone make his public_html read only, which resulted in fun times for all....
