I need a help to solve a fatal problem with the cpanel that I am asked to manage. The site shows the following message due to the errors in cpanel

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access this resource.Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can you help me solve the issue?

Hey there! Whenever you receive a 403 error, the best thing to do is check the Apache logs on the system, at /etc/apache2/logs/error_log.

In this case, it seems there is a permissions issue either on the user's home directory of /home/username or the .htaccess file at /home/username/.htaccess. Can you check those areas and make sure everything is working normally?
