After today's Regular upcp the server stopped allowing users to auth for sending email via mail clients, but webmail works just fine, I have forced a upcp and also a rebuild of exim but with no change.

    My Build is
    WHM 10.6.0 cPanel 10.6.0-C197
    FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE i386 - WHM X v3.1.0

    Same problem here:
    WHM 10.1.0 cPanel 10.2.0-S83
    RedHat Enterprise 3 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

Why are there so many mail problems?

Reoccuring sentences in the exim mainlog are:

First, make sure /etc/exim.pl is not deleted. Second, make sure your exim ACLs and/or RBLs are not corrupted.

I have removed any rbl links and wiped my exim to defaults, the /etc/exim.pl file is there and i have catted the file and it is fine. and all of my clients are reporting the same issue, also for some reason the ftp server is not allowing and logins as well.

    Code:
    root@alpha# cat /var/log/exim/mainlog | tail

But webmail works just fine, and the server is reciving messages sent from root account for service status, but nothing else. And there is nothing in the mail que as well, the server has become a black hole

Well i solved part one of this, when i was forcing a reinstall of exim for bsd it was not replacing the conf file like it was saying it was, so it was running the old conf file but the web-interface was linking to a copy of the new conf file in the same dir. So i wiped all the conf files and had it reload and now just getting stuck with a Auth error.
