421 unexpected log failure == no email

I have just setup this account. I am in abit over my head here but I am finding that when ever a mail client conects it gets a error
412 unexpected log failure.
I found a few posts that pointed to permision errors but that does not seam to be it.
This is a brand new account and I have not touched anything.
Help!!!
