    Hi;

    When you receive an error "Internal server error 500" on your site, the best way to find the reason for it is to check the error apache error logs at /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log.

    If its running SUPHP on the server then public_html should be user.nobody (mode 750) , files under public_html will be user.user and everything under public_html is world readable (mode 644).

    Hello,

    Some scripts requires php5 to run properly. In SUPHP server php settings such as register_globals etc must be enabled in custom php.ini file. If it is added in .htaccess file the site will result in internal server error.

    Thanks

    Make sure that the directory permission is 755 and for files 644. Many servers will not execute CGI scripts if the permission is writable (777) .
