cPanel Access Level
Website Owner
Hello,

I am into a very strange problem. I created a FTP account from Cpanel (Provide by host provider) to upload content to my website.
Upon login to the FTP account using the created credentials from Filezilla, i am getting "530 Login incorrect".
I verified and change the passwords multiple times but issue remains the same.

I don't see any option related to fix this issue.

Please help me to fix this issue.

Hello :)

Are you using the cPanel account username without the @domain.com suffix?

Thank you.

Hello,

Your access level is listed as Website Owner. That usually indicates that you do not have root access to the server. You should probably check with your hosting provider and ask them to check the /var/log/messages log file for problems as you try to connect.

I am using <[email protected]> while login from FTP client.
However i am able to login to Cpanel using Cpanel credentials.
Please try using the cPanel username on it's own without the @domain.com entry in the username.

Thank you.
