550-Unrouteable address – What causes it and how to fix it in Exim, cPanel

Hi everyone,

I can't send mails to certain email addresses (.net, .org) , I receive the next message.

[Removed Output that included real domain names]

Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 501 5.0.1 Emetteur invalide. Invalid Sender. LPN007_405


Does anyone know how I can resolve these error?

Hello,

Is this happening when sending email from your cPanel server to multiple remote mail servers? If so, do you notice any output in /var/log/exim_mainlog for the affected messages? EX:

exigrep user@remote-domain /var/log/exim_mainlog

Thanks for the reply, when I send a test email to the following address: [email protected], I receive the following error in the file log (exim_mainlog)

That message suggests the email account you are sending to is not routable. To clarify, are you sending to this email account from your server, or is this domain name hosted on your server?

I send email from my server to the customer address: [email protected]. And I receive the following error in the file log (exim_mainlog).

SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<[email protected]>: 550 Unrouteable sender address

That domain, now removed from your posts, is a disposable email address website. You might want to contact your customer and ask them for another email address that actually works.
