So when I try to send an email I get the following error: "Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable
550 Verification failed for <-snip-
No Such User Here
Sender verify failed"

As I am new to Linux hosting and cPanel, I need some advice.

As per the error message it seems to me the email id on which you are sending mail is not correct. So please verify that if the email id exist or not. Please also check if you have made any typo mistake.

Hello,

Are you the root administrator of the machine with SSH access to the server?

If you are, log into SSH and try the following commands:

exim -bt [email protected]
grep domain.com /etc/localdomains /etc/remotedomains
/scripts/whoowns domain.com

Above please replace [email protected] with the email address you are trying to send from and replace domain.com with the domain name.

Paste the results of each command here.
