    Hey guys,

Just wondering whats the story on cPanel/WHM as a whole being 64bit compatable.

Plan to use RHES 4 (64bit) with some Opteron servers.

Anything I might loose out on if I go 64bit etc?

    Thanks in advance!

cPanel itself works fine on the 64bit OS's. However, there are issues with perl modules on cpan and the 64bit OS and for that reason, unless you want headaches that you'll need to look into with specific regard to library modules, it's probably best to steer clear and use the 32bit OS equivalent. There's very little advantage to running a 64bit OS at present, since they're mostly simple recompiles of 32bit apps which will give you little to nothing in performance, but all the headaches.

Ok, so RedHat ES 4 32bit is still a fine choice?

    It's an excellent choice, yes.
