    Hey,
I am migrating servers from Ensim to Cpanel, and many of our users have usernames longer than 8 characters. Is it possible to change the username limit to something larger?

    Any help is much appreciated.

Agreed. On FreeBSD we can do more than 8 chars and we always liked to make the ftp name as close to the domain name as possible (without the TLD). With Cpanel we can only do 8 chars and its limiting when you start getting similiar domains.

    FreeBSD !!!.

Anyways i agree they should add the support for it.

We had 2 domains from 2 different customers, and both had a domain that started with halfofit, now it was a real coincedence, but it meant we had to change one persons username to halfof.
