    Ex.

    Primary domain:

    www.domain.com account user_1

    I used Whm to create a new account user_2 and domain www.test.domain.com (I used same IP)

    My secondary account uses a server, a web client and cherrypy to connect them through a socket and 8080 port

    I manage to start both server and web client.

    Problem I cannot access www.test.domain.com:8080 ..... it is loading forever.

    Can u help me ? There are any firewall settings or a solution to my problem ?

    I created a user cipriano with subdomain /http://ciprian.originals.ro/

    I am struggling to open a socket with cherrypy /http://docs.cherrypy.org/stable/concepts/basics.html?highlight=hello%20worlds
    Your first CherryPy application — CherryPy v3.2.0 documentation

    Code:
    import cherrypy

    class HelloWorld:
        def index(self):
            return "Hello world!"
        index.exposed = True

    cherrypy.config.update({'server.socket_host': '89.36.27.42',
                            'server.socket_port': 8080,
                           })

    cherrypy.quickstart(HelloWorld())

    And i keep getting this error.

    Code:
    CherryPy Checker:
    The Application mounted at '' has an empty config.

    Do you happen to be running this on a VPS using Virtuozzo or OpenVZ? This error has previously been reported online in other forums about hitting the thread count under Virtuozzo or OpenVZ:

    Thread limit on deb in vpslink? - VPSlink Forums

    If you are using Virtuozzo or OpenVZ, please check /proc/user_beancounters for any failcnt you might be reaching to see each time you try to run the service if you are increasing failcnt numbers. If you are, please then contact your VPS provider with that information and assistance in troubleshooting the node settings for limits.

    I am not using Virtuozzo or OpenVZ ... I checked /proc/ there is no file user_beancounters .... I am using a dedicated server with WHM and Cpanel.

    Did u manage to access /http://89.36.27.42:8080/ it is like a forever loop.

    I tried to open another thread using CherryPy and it says that the address error: (98, 'Address already in use') so I guess it already reserved that port.

    If I kill CherryPy process that opened that port that url goes to "Unable to connect" and I can start again a new thread

    Hello zipicip,

    The connection does hang on that url as you've indicated, then it ends up showing "Problem loading page" due to a connection timeout. Does the application you are trying to get working have a support forum that you've tried contacting or some support means?

    Next, what is your server type? Is it CentOS or CloudLinux or what precisely?

    Code:
    cat /etc/redhat-released
    I'm trying to determine if you have some ulimit settings, which you'd read about in that previously linked discussion as well.

    Thanks!

    Do you happen to have Shell Fork Bomb Protection enabled? It will set ulimits on service processes owned by non-root user.

    Also, have you contacted the support channels for that application?

    I disabled now Shell Fork Bomb Protection and that did the trick.

    Thank you with all my heart.

    Sure, glad that was the cause and disabling it fixed the issue. :)
