Should we change the update config to RELEASE and run upcp --force ?

That will certainly solve it in the meantime. (no --force needed though, but it can't hurt)

    the issue here is

Release- resellers can see global packages even if not allowed.

Current- they cant add any new packages.

I've had to go to release to allow resellers to create packages but they see my root packages. So when the fix comes out in current please let us know.

You say fixed in 14665+ but i was on 14666 and was still an issue.

You're absolutely right, whostmgr&whostmgr2 did not get rebuilt in CURRENT (the fix is there, but the binary did not get rebuilt).

as temporary solution root can make packages for reseller:
    1) cd /var/cpanel/packages
    2) cp res_mypackage res_mynewpackage
    3) edit res_mynewpackage

    that's all.

    Still not working!!!

I have ran upcp --force across all of my servers and resellers still can not create new accounts...packages are STILL MISSING.

    WHM 11.2.0 cPanel 11.6.0-C14778
    REDHAT 9 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

    What now?

Yes I am doing a ticket, but I know that my servers can't be the only ones that still have this problem.

    Gawd I hate cpanel updates.

Thank you Nick...I'm sorry for the "I hate cpanel updates"...I'm sure it was taken out of context...actually what I should have said was that "I'm too lazy to like cPanel updates"

No worries, however the sentiment is very very much appreciated. We are in the most painful part of the release cycle (rollout), which tends to be the most ::stressful:: around here. We are getting really close to STABLE so its going to be a lot better though real soon.
