    Hello ! :)

I'm having a problem on my board (Invision Power Board) : validating accounts takes a lot of time.
    I know that :
    - the database is ok (optimized, no errors).
    - deleting accounts is fast and no email is sent when this is done.
    - validating accounts is slow and an email is sent to each validated account.

So I think the problem comes froms the emails being sent...

So I wonder if WHM/CPanel has something to do with it : is it possible it makes sending e-mails slow ?

    Thank you ! :)

Never set that script up but most scripts that are simliar have an option for PHP mail or SMTP mail, have you tried switch this?

Im going to have a look at this. Thank you ! :)

By the way, I also looked inside the "Top 50 mail rejection reasons by message count" in WHM. I got this :

Are all these errors normal ? Especially those "154 Closed connection in response to initial connection" and "48 Unknown".

    Thank you ! :)

Go to http://mxtoolbox.com/ plug in your domain name then it will give you an option to diagnose and check blacklist on your mailserver.

I would say that is good then, you can always check your exim logs to see where the drops are coming from.
