I would like to suggest a couple new security features i hope to see in some new release or updates in cpanel.

------------
Encrypt Remote Backup Password or make it look like ******* in cpanel backup center for remote backups
------------
Have old password to change new password
------------

--------------------------------------

If your server gets hacked an you remote backup to another server for your own reasons like i do then they can easily just view your password in cpanel backup place and login to your remote backup center and delete your backups and your screwed....but if they couldn't see your remote backup password then they couldn't and you would have a safe and secure backup!

Go on, have a guess
If your server is hacked then hackers will always be able to view an off-site FTP backup since it has to be sent in clear text anyway, so it's a weak security measure, i.e. "security through obscurity".

well its a better chance they won't see it if its not shown in the textbox in plain view isn't it? I mean, if they go in there and look and see the pw is encrypted or something - there going to worry about other things instead of viewing logs of the backups etc etc..... but if they go in there and see that the password was in plain view its going to pop in there mind hey lets delete the backups.

its nothing to important just an idea know what im saying?
