guys yesterday my host made one of my domain as reseller from other one. Now today when I tried to install a forum(on this new dome which is now my reseller) for which I had to change file permissions, I was not able to do this. It gave me error -
[a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]

Also when I created a directory it's permission was 000 as a default. I tried to chagne it to 755 and this is where I am getting the error. What should I do ?

    same problem

I too am having this problem. Only 2 directories have this problem in a folder, the rest are fine. I would like to know the answer = they are stuck on 755 and need to be 777 and I am logged in as root and am the user entitled to be in there.

    check the owner ship

    hi

Please check the owner ship. Only the owner or root can change the permissions.

    Thanks
