    hello i seem to get this:
    [a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]
    in the whm panel and i dunno why please help.

    This error message might be a result of a DNS problem. Check your /etc/resolv.conf file and make sure the IPs are working. Check that reverse DNS has been setup for your server. You also need to check and see if Apache is up and running.

    Hi,

    Also our server doesn't seem to be resolving to any websites. Like if I type ping google.com or any other site, nothing happens. We just installed cPanel on it, and before we did that it was able to download the cPanel files fine with wget, not we can't resolve to any sites.

    Yes, that's a DNS probelm.

    Check your domain for DNS errors at http://dnsreport.com. It will also give you a clue as to how to fix the problems.
