Is there a check I can run, prior to using EasyApache (to upgrade PHP) which would basically pre-check Mod_Security rule ID conflicts? If so, this would really help because every time lately we've upgraded but hit a snag when Apache will not restart afterward due to what is described here:

    ModSecurity Changes | cPanel, Inc.

I don't think running the following will check for Mod Security ID conflicts, or would it?

    apachectl configtest

Failing a pre-check script, would it be possible to simply comment out the mod_security reference in httpd.conf prior to running EasyApache, to hopefully avoid the Apache downtime after the upgrade?

    Thanks much.
