A User can see EVERY domain hosted on a Server?
    Ok, Here's the deal...

There is a Person who somehow obtained a list of all the domains hosted on my server(not users, but domains..). He then proceded to Email webmaster, admin, owner, etc @domain.com for every single one of these domains, and offer HIS web hosting advertisments.

Now my cpanel is totaly up to date, and the only other thing i really run on here is WHM Auto Piolet.

What i want to know is:
    1. How did they get a domain list?
    2. How can i stop this list from showing?

    1) They probably got it from www.whois.sc
    2) You can't stop it because it gets the information based on what sites are using your nameservers.

    Just a Little Remark

If he/she is looking it up in Whois then you could try another protection method which is a "WHOIS Guard" for each of the domains but this costs money to register each domain name although not sure if you can get discount for multiple domain names.

I have Whois protection on my domains and it reads:

    May Possibly help.!!

    Cheers

You would be surprised. They pay and then can search thousands! It is very cost effective.

If you go to http://whois.webhosting.info/ and enter a domain name it will tell you the hosting company and all the accounts listed on that server. It's not updated every day but it's free!

If the person is using the same e-mail address to send out the e-mails, you don't you block them? I know it's possible and if you do a search you will find the answer.

    Good Luck!

    Hey demi whats up...
    lol
Anyway, you can get lists like this on your own through the Master Zone files (IE, name server files that include every domain). Every registrar is required to give access to Master Zone files for their TLD (although I dont think ccTLD's do). You just have to apply and pay the nominal fee of 0$ / year. (Yes It actually sais you have to pay 0$ per year)
