Hello,

We have a dedicated server from GoDaddy, and we are able to login in WHM but not able to login through SSH with same credentials.

Also the Magento1.9 is not working on this server. Our hosting server provider not helping us and they clearly mentioned that they are unable to help.

Is there anyone who can help us please.

Regards,
Tarak Nath

Sorry for the late reply as I was in Christmas holiday.

Sounds like root login via SSH is disabled, which is fairly normal. Confirm this with

Code:
grep PermitRootLogin /etc/ssh/sshd_config
...to which I’d expect a response as follows:

Code:
PermitRootLogin no

Usually you’d use one of your cPanel accounts and add that account to the Wheel user group, then SSH in as that user and use sudo or su in terminal to elevate from that user to root. See - Removed -
