My list of bad i.p.'s is getting big, I am afraid the size of the list might compromise apache.

    Any thought's?

    Thanks, Charles

I was told on another forum that it doesn't matter how big it is, then again they said the apache config file can be any size without a difference in performance.

I don't believe it, I think the lass virtual hosts and ssl hosts the quicker the response and load.

Too add to my weird question is.. does anyone think you can make black list to be shared in apache deny option.

Like in the deny option put a url or wget path to a text file to use in the apache config file.

Or at least can you make a separate file for the list of deny domains for apache to see?

I guess a firewall would save the effort of trying to figure this out.

I think if cpanel had a puzzles forum this be there

    Thanks, Charles
