On the IPv6 ranges of WHm and in the IPv6 ranges documentation (11.52), you always give the example of /64 for Ipv6 CIDR.

    IPv6 Ranges - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

I think it is too much because only ISP get this type of huge ipv6 range.

    /64 means 18446744073709551616 hosts !
    from x:x:x:x:0:0:0:0 to x:x:x:x:ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:

I think that most of web hosting companies only get a /112 from their ISP meaning x:x:x:x:x:x:x:0000 to x:x:x:x:x:x:x:ffff

Also, using a /64 people may get confused between the Cidr for the network to reach the gateway and the allocated Ipv6 range they get. Then, i guess they will enter /64 in the Ipv6 range field in Cpanel and they will get "invalid Ipv6 range".

    Hello,

Thanks for your input. We find that many web hosting providers in North America are indeed giving /64 to hosting customers (meaning to individual servers).

I agree that moving from IPv4 to IPv6 can be quite confusing.
