About Tomcat 5 installation

    Greetings,

    I want some help in tomcat 5 installation on cpanel server. Is it important for tomcat 5 to run with JDK 1.4.2 or it will run with JDK 1.4.0. Waiting for your response. Kindly can you tel me the steps. Because after installation websites r still not running jsp files.

    About the JSP pages

    Thanks fro replying,

    But the problem is this that tomcat is installed and nor errors seen. But no jsp page is running and no error still, just blank page. Kindly help me in this regard.

    About Tomcat 5.0.19 installer

    Is it complete. It has many things missing. And gets errors in install. Kindly check it. I installed it and jsp pages are not running.

    It is complete. It is designed to run as the tomcat user, though, so you will need to change permissions on the public_html folder of jsp sites to 755. If they are 711 then tomcat will not be able to function properly.

    But how can I get mod_jk.so. And why it stops itself.
