    Hi.

Is there a way to only accept email from my whitelist and auto-trash email from everyone else? I have an email address which only my friends and family know and, naturally, because I have their email addresses, I can add them to my whitelist.

What I want to avoid is having an email sent every time someone else (i.e. a spammer) sends me an email. This is a horrible waste of resources (especially when I know exactly who is allowed to send email to that address) and potentially puts me onto a blacklist because of the volume of mail being sent from my host's IP.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks.

You can modify one of the threads on RBL with whitelist to have everything else refused, but that does break the RFC's.

    Hi, Lloyd.

Thanks for the information. My understanding is that the RBL is at the server level and not specific to an email account. Is this correct?

    What is RFC?

    Thanks.
