Hello,

I am a new reseller and I have created a new account under shared-ip or name-based for my client\'s domain. I know under dedicated-ip or ip-based account is possible. I have a few questions as below:

1. Is there a way to access Cpanel for my client\'s account before the domain DNS propagates under name-based account?

2. How can my clients create/delete MySQL databases if it is name-based account before the domain DNS propagates?

3. Is it possible to create a ip-based account for my clients then after my client\'s domain DNS propagated then switch to name-based? How do I go about using this in reseller WHM if this is possible?

That\'s all for the time being.

Thanks in advance :D

Regards,
Choon

Hello,

For a shared IP account, simply use the main server IP. For example, if your main server IP was 123.123.123.123, then just use http://123.123.123.123:2082 and you\'re in business.

choon,

If you want to hide your webhost IP number,
you can always ask your client to use:

http://www.YourResellerDomain.com/cpanel/

I\'ve told this to all my resellers, and it works!

Hello anto,

Thanks and if I am not wrong... that\'s provided my customer\'s domain DNS propagation is completed.

Thanks.

Use your domain not your client\'s domain.

(ie. http://www.YourResellerDomain.com/cpanel/)
