    Greetings :)

I've just done a clean install of Centos 5 and WHM/cPanel. I've created a new cPanel account but when I try to access any of the web pages I get an 'Access Denied' message displayed in my browser.

I can access the main domain but if I try and access a subfolder (eg, http://mydomain.com/forum) I get that message.

    What could be causing this?

    Fixed it.

I was using backup files that had a different owner/group.

Nice to see that your issue is resolved, in future when ever you face same problem again you can check the following servers apache logs to found out the exact problem but make sure that you have logged into the server as root user

    tail -f /usr/local/apache/logs/error_logs
