    Hi Guys.

A customer is trying to run a cgi script using /bin/mail. /bin/mail works fine for root but is restricted in the jail shell (for good reason I'm sure) for other users, including the httpd user.

What should I suggest that the customer use as an alternative or should I create a more liberal link to /usr/bin in a locked down folder in another directory?

    Thank you for your help.

I would just enable a normal shell for the user as the jailed shell feature is a little clunky.
