Hello,
I would like to ask you how can i directly access a cPanel account through WHM 78.x version. I used to follow the process as described in this article:
How to Access cPanels via your Reseller WHM | InMotion Hosting
Mod Note: I removed the URL from the above link text. Please avoid posting links to external websites when possible.

Thank you for your time!

Hello @cPanelMichael,
Thank you for this quick response.
I read the documentation. Unfortunately i don't want to use an external authentication for example: cPanelID, Google Accounts, Facebook, or your hosting provider's portal. I just love to use the 'old' cPanel icon under the accounts' list in WHM area.
Thank you again!

Hello @Michaelit,

Are you able to login via WHM as the root or reseller account and access the List Accounts feature? If so, note the following information if you're not seeing the cPanel icon for quick logins:

If you disabled root or reseller logins to cPanel user accounts, this icon does not display. You can enable this feature in the System section of WHM's Tweak Settings interface (WHM >> Home >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings).
Thank you.

I have the same issue, however the Root login access is enabled, but when I click on the cPanel icon it opens a new tab that asks for username and password of the cPanel. I noticed too that it only happens in Chrome, if I try on Edge is normal.

@Josh Medici - if it is working in one browser and not the other, it is most likely an issue related to that browser. I'd recommend trying to clear any cache or cookies you have in place on that browser to see if that resolves the behavior.
I don't know how it works related to security, but I tried clearing cache and cookies but the problem still persisted. I tried using https, because I didn't notice I was using unsecured connection and that worked. Go figure, I can't say how or why. Now I can access cPanel from within WHM.

Interesting - I would expect them to be using an https connection by default since you're already logged in to WHM.

It's possible there are some odd redirection settings in WHM >> Tweak Settings under the "Redirection" tab so you might want to check that area.
