accessing addon domains via ftp using one username and password

Is it possible to access addon domains via ftp using one username and password (the main site's user info that is)?

I have a friend whose site is hosted on hsphere and he has many domain names hosted on his one account. But you access each domain with the same username and password. The only difference is you change the remote directory to the addon domain's directory and you can then manage that domain name's ftp files. Is this possible with cpanel? I've searched the forums and have come up with nothing on this. Only standard addon domain name procedures. Currently each addon domain requires its own username and password for accessing which is ok but not in this case. By having just one username and passwrod, it is a lot easier for managing multiple sites via ftp. That's why i'm insterested in this. Plus, my friend wants to transfer to me so I want to accomodate as well.

Disregard this post. I got it working. For some reason it wasn't working before and now it is. Probablly misspelled something or omitted a /, who knows. I have no idea.
