Is this even possible to set up?

    So rather than having:
    'domain.com/cpanel' or 'domain.com/whm'
    You could have:
    'cpanel.domain.com' or 'whm.domain.com' or 'whateveryouwant.domain.com'

I've tried setting it up via DNS and having the server consider it's host as 'subdomain.domain.com', but the subdomain only ever gave a 'File not found' generated page.

You can't add the /cpanel to any A-Records or CNAME Records... Is this something I'm missing or am I asking too much?
