Can anyone tell me how to access the root shell. I need to install Shoutcast to my server. Just not real familiar with servers. Thanks:confused:

    Research Putty on google.
it will allow you to login to root through ssh.

    If you research WHMxtra,
It will install Shoutcast for you.

    Hello :)

For anyone else with the same question, cPanel has the following documentation available on how to connect via shell access:

    SSH/Shell Access

    Thank you.

you can use any ssh client software (putty, cuteftp, ssh explorer, etc) to connect your server.
