I am trying to create an account on a subdomain via a Reseller account (which worked fine previously) but now I can't.

Account Creation Status: failed

(XID hmk5ft) The domain “sub.domain.com” may not be created by “user” because “domain.com” is already owned by another user.

"domain.com" is actually owned by the same reseller account I'm trying to create the new account with.

I've looked at the below thread and have tried changing the "Tweak" settings, but didn't help.
[Case 169841] Root Account Cannot Create Subdomain Accounts (11.48.1.1)

Any advice?

Hello :)

I'm unable to reproduce the issue on cPanel version 54.0.8. Could you verify if the domain name is associated with the hostname of the server? Also, please let us know which of these options are enabled in "WHM >> Tweak Settings" under the "Domains" tab:

Allow cPanel users to create subdomains across accounts

Allow WHM users to create subdomains across accounts

Allow resellers to create accounts with subdomains of the server’s hostname

Thank you.
